Privacy policy

1.Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how **REVEL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED** (“Lomi”, “our”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses, and safeguards your information. It forms part of and is governed by our **Terms of Service**. Please review this document to understand our privacy practices. By visiting **www.lomiparty.com** (“Website”) or by installing and using the Lomi mobile application (“App”), along with any related services we provide (together referred to as the “Services”), you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined here. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of our Services.

When you interact with our App or Website, we may collect certain information to deliver, improve, and secure the Services. The scope of data collected depends on how you use Lomi.

2.Information we collect

We collect information from you when you access our Website or App, install the App on your device, or create a Lomi account. This can include personal information that identifies you directly, as well as usage and technical data necessary for operating the Services.

2.1 Account Creation & Registration Data

When you register an account or use Lomi, we may gather personal and non‑personal details. This may include:

Required information: gender, name or display name, date of birth, and a valid mobile number or email, which help us provide core features such as friend connections and recommendations. Optional information: profile pictures, videos, personal descriptions, interests, and any other content you decide to share in your profile.

If you sign up through a third‑party account like Google or Apple, we may also obtain information from those accounts (e.g. your name, email address, profile picture, birth date), with your consent, to enable login synchronization across devices. We may use your contact details to send you updates, promotions, or notifications permitted by local laws. You may control such communications via your account settings or unsubscribe links provided.

For users of our text or video messaging features, Lomi processes message data (including metadata such as time and participants, but not message content unless necessary for moderation or safety). This may be used to safeguard the platform, detect abuse, and enhance service quality.

2.2 Location Information

We may collect certain data that reveals your geographic position (“Location Data”), such as:

GPS coordinates for precise positioning,

Wi‑Fi signals for approximate city‑level information,

IP address for country or region identification.

This location information may be processed by us, shown to other users, or both—depending on the features you use and your settings. Such information is essential for setting up and maintaining a secure account, ensuring that our Services connect you with the right people, and preserving the integrity of our platform.

We may also store and utilize more detailed location records, including places where you have previously used Lomi, to customize your experience and suggest more relevant interactions.

2.3 Log Data

When you browse our Website, use the App, respond to notifications, sign into other linked services, or otherwise engage with Lomi, our system automatically collects technical and interaction data (“Log Data”).

Log Data may include:

IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and unique identifiers.

Pages you visit, the referring web page, search terms, and cookie identifiers.

Information on your mobile carrier, the configuration of your App, and metadata about your activities, such as who you connected with and the length of communications (excluding actual message content, unless needed for safety).

We use Log Data to run, protect, and improve the Services, to detect security threats, and to assess feature popularity. It also helps in reconnecting you with previous contacts and enhancing the relevance of our marketing. Log Data is only retained for a maximum of 30 days.

2.4 Data from Third Parties & Affiliates

We may obtain your information from external partners, subsidiaries, or linked services. For example:

Safety and quality review partners, to ensure content meets our standards.

Other services you connect with Lomi, subject to your permissions.

If you purchase through our Services, we may collect and process payment data including card number, expiry date, CVV, and billing details. Where transactions occur via intermediaries, we may also receive relevant transaction records such as the payment date and amount.

2.5 Personalization Based on Linked Identities

When you log in through a device or browser, Lomi links that access point to your account for verification, security, and customization. Depending on your settings, we might also associate other devices or browsers with your account, even if you have not directly signed in from them, to deliver a more unified experience.

We may infer additional details about your account by linking identifiers such as email hashes that match components of the email address you provided. These processes help us maintain consistent personalization across your sessions.

2.6 Data from App Usage

Device info: Lomi may collect details such as model, unique device ID, IP address, hardware capabilities, and app performance statistics.

User activity: This includes match counts, match duration, in‑app messages, and geographic usage patterns.

Permissions: To deliver video/audio calls, photo sharing, and profile image features, we require access to your camera, microphone, and media files. This also helps enforce rules such as blocking access for minors under 18 and preventing harmful content.

Shared content: Information you post—photos, videos, music, interests—may be stored on our servers and visible to others if you choose to share it. Once shared, we cannot guarantee removal from all recipients.

User‑generated content: Any content you create in Lomi (e.g., screenshots, comments, music selections) may be stored.

Transactions: To complete purchases, you may need to provide valid payment details.

Error reports: If the App encounters issues, we may collect error diagnostics (device type, version, time of error, features in use). These reports are for troubleshooting and generally don’t contain personal identifiers.

2.7 Website Visits

When you visit our Website, we may use cookies, beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to gather:

Browsing patterns (pages visited, time spent, frequency).

Location information derived from your device or IP address.

Device/browser details, crash reports, and activity that occurred immediately before arriving on our Website.

You can disable these tracking technologies in your browser or device settings, but doing so may affect some features. We use such tools for secure logins, analytics, and product development.

2.8 Age

Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone below this age. If we discover such information has been submitted, it will be removed from our systems. If you are under 18, please do not use the App or Website.

3. User Profile

You control the information you place in your in‑app profile (“Profile”) and may update or remove it at any time. Your Profile may include, but is not limited to, profile photos and videos, display name, interests, a short bio, languages and your birthdate — and this information can be visible to other Lomi users with whom you connect. Please only include information you are comfortable sharing. Depending on your privacy settings and how you use the App, your Profile may also be discoverable by other users (for example, via contact listings or proximity features).

You can block any other Lomi user to prevent them from seeing your Profile. If you registered using a third‑party account (such as Google), we may prefill certain fields in your Profile (e.g., name, profile image, date of birth, email, gender, or Google ID) based on data you authorized to share. For instructions on changing or removing Profile content, see Section 13 and our Safety Centre.

4. Purpose and use of personal information

We apply data minimization principles: we collect and process only the personal data necessary to deliver the Services and for related business purposes set out below.

4.1 Providing the Service

We process your data to operate core features, including to:

connect you with other users;

allow you to present your Profile to others;

enable audio and video calling and related real‑time communication functions;

permit sharing of images and video through the App;

display the names of people you interact with and show your name to those you contact;

offer optional paid or premium features, games, or other in‑App interactions described in our Terms of Use;

provide channels to contact our support team; and perform analytics that improve match relevance, suggest offers, and deliver service updates.

4.2 Account administration, product improvement and safety

We use personal data to manage your account and Profile (for example, creating and updating accounts and sending administrative notices). We also use data to:

facilitate networking and show location- or interest‑based information about other users where appropriate;

research, test and refine our Services through surveys, aggregated statistics, usage analysis and troubleshooting;

communicate marketing material and membership or loyalty program information where you have consented; and respond to your inquiries and support requests.

To protect our community and platform integrity, we employ automated tools and manual review to detect abuse, investigate suspicious behaviour, enforce our Terms of Use and Safety policies, and prevent unlawful or harmful activities.

4.3 Business and legal purposes

We may use your data for corporate and legal needs, including to:

assert, defend or exercise legal rights;

comply with laws, regulations and reporting obligations;

moderate content to protect users;

manage corporate transactions such as sales, mergers, or reorganizations; and fulfill contractual obligations connected to the Services.

4.4 Cross‑service uses

We may link information about your activity on Lomi with data from our other products or services to present a unified, personalized experience and to make recommendations that are consistent across our offerings.

5. Legal basis for processing your data

We process personal data on one or more lawful grounds, as applicable:

Performance of a contract: where processing is necessary to provide the Services or to fulfill our Terms of Use with you.

Consent: where you have explicitly agreed to certain processing activities (for example, receiving marketing communications).

Legal compliance: where processing is required to meet legal or regulatory obligations.

Legitimate interests/public interest and vital interests: where processing is necessary to protect public interests, vital interests of an individual or others, or our legitimate business interests balanced against your rights.

6. Parties with whom you may choose to share your User Content

Any information you voluntarily make public or share with other users through the App (including messages, photos, videos, profile details and live chat content) may be viewed, saved and redistributed by those recipients. Once content is shared publicly or with other users, deletion or complete retraction may not be possible because copies may exist in caches, archives, or on other users’ devices (or in third‑party services). Lomi is not liable for how other users or third parties use content that you publish or share.

7. Direct Marketing

If you opt in to receive promotional messages, you consent to our using your contact and usage information to send marketing about coins, offers, events, updates, contests and similar promotions via email, push notifications, in‑App messages, social media or other channels. We will request your consent before sending direct marketing and you can withdraw consent or opt out at any time. See “Your Data Protection Rights” for details on how to unsubscribe.

8. Data Access and Removal

You may control the data you provide to us (except information designated as required to use specific Services) by changing settings within the App or on your device, or by uninstalling the App. You can request account deletion at any time. After receiving a deletion request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to remove your personal data from our active systems, subject to legal, tax, accounting or other obligations that require retention of certain records. Please note that deleting your data may prevent us from continuing to provide the Service to you.

To delete your account from within the App: Settings > Account > Delete Account > choose the reason that best applies > Confirm “Delete Account.” You may also request erasure by emailing admin@lomiparty.com.

9. Outbound Links

The App and Website may link to third‑party sites or services. Those third parties have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third‑party websites, and we are not responsible for their content or data handling. Please review the privacy policies of any third‑party services you use.

10. Security

We place strong emphasis on safeguarding your personal information. We implement a combination of administrative, technical and physical safeguards—such as access controls, password protection, audit logs, encryption where appropriate, system monitoring and routine security testing—to protect data held by Lomi from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. We maintain incident response procedures and perform periodic vulnerability assessments to improve our protections.

Despite these measures, no internet-connected system is completely secure. We cannot promise absolute immunity from loss, misuse, interception or alteration of data under our control.

Personal data collected by Lomi may be stored and processed in jurisdictions where Lomi or its service providers operate. For the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, Lomi may transfer information across borders; by using the Service you consent to such transfers as permitted by applicable law. When personal information is moved internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards (for example contractual clauses or other measures required under local law). If you would like further details about the safeguards we apply to international transfers, please contact us using the details in the “Contact information” section.

We may also de‑identify, aggregate or pseudonymise personal data for analytics and product improvement. Aggregated or pseudonymised data is used to develop and optimise features, detect fraud, investigate account security, and analyse usage patterns.

11. Retention of Your Data

We will keep your personal data only for so long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless the law requires us to keep it for a longer period. Once we no longer need your personal data, we will either irreversibly anonymise or securely delete it from our servers.

12. Your Data Protection Rights

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to deliver the Services, to meet legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for other legitimate business purposes described in this Privacy Policy. When information is no longer required for these purposes, we will securely delete or irreversibly anonymise it. Retention periods may vary by data type and jurisdiction; where applicable law mandates longer retention, we will retain data for the period required.

Your data protection rights

We want you to be aware of the rights you may have under applicable data protection laws. Subject to local requirements and exceptions, these may include the right to:

Access: obtain confirmation whether we process your personal data and request a copy of the data we hold about you.

Withdraw consent: where processing is based on your consent, withdraw that consent at any time.

Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Erasure: request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances (subject to legal or contractual exceptions).

Restriction: ask us to limit or suspend processing of your personal data while certain issues are resolved.

Portability: receive a copy of personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine‑readable format and, where technically feasible, request transmission to another controller when processing is based on consent or contract and automated.

Object: object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing; we will stop processing unless we can demonstrate overriding legitimate grounds or legal requirements.

Lodge a complaint: raise a concern with our Data Protection Officer or with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction if you believe your rights have been violated.

Please note that some rights may be limited by law (for example where retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations or to defend legal claims).

13. How to exercise your rights

You may manage and update most of your personal data directly in the App. To request deletion, portability, access, correction, restriction, or to revoke consent, you can either use the App controls or send a written request to admin@lomiparty.com. We will verify identity as required before fulfilling requests and will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

If you request account deletion via the App: Settings > Account > Delete Account > choose the reason > confirm “Delete Account.” After a deletion request, we will take commercially reasonable steps to remove your personal data from active systems, while retaining any information we are legally required to keep. You may also contact our Data Protection Officer (contact details below) to file a complaint or for assistance with your data rights.

14. Cookie and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, local storage and similar technologies on our Site, App, emails and advertisements to recognise your device, remember preferences, analyse usage, personalise content and ads, secure the Service, and measure campaign performance. Types of cookies used may include strictly necessary cookies, performance/analytics cookies, functionality cookies, and targeting/advertising cookies.

You can control cookie preferences through your browser or device settings and some in‑App settings. Disabling cookies may impact functionality and your experience on the Site or App. For more information on the specific cookies we use and how to manage them, please consult our Cookie Policy or contact us.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. When we make non‑material edits, we will post the revised policy on our Site. For material changes, we will give more prominent notice—such as an in‑App notification, an email, or a notice on our Site—where required by law. Continuing to use the Service after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy, so please check this page periodically.

16. Contact information

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to exercise your data rights, or wish to raise a complaint, please contact our Data Protection Officer at admin@lomiparty.com. We will aim to respond promptly and assist you with any enquiries regarding your personal data.
